Hi Hi, I’m Kai

A Brand Design student based in Toronto who gets way too excited about packaging, restaurant branding, and turning small ideas into full-on worlds.

I love building brands that feel lived-in: the menu you want to steal, the PR box you don’t throw away, and the bottle you keep on your shelf even after it’s empty. A lot of my work sits at the intersection of strategy and visual storytelling. I’m just as interested in why a brand exists as how it shows up on the shelf, online, or in your hands.

Outside of design school, you’ll usually find me at the gym, baking, or obsessing over how things are packaged in grocery stores and cafés. That mix of food, wellness, and visual culture shows up a lot in my projects: beverage branding, restaurant concepts, packaging systems, and playful, type-led identities.

FAQ’S

  • Mostly Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma, plus a lot of sketches, messy notebooks, and way too many Pinterest boards.

  • I focus on brand identity and packaging design, especially for food, beverage, and hospitality brands. I like working on visual systems that live across print, packaging, and digital.
